As I sat there trying to figure out what I would write about for project two, I knew I was lost. I did not know where to start so I took it upon myself to read chapter 5 in the Bedford Book of Genres, Exploring Topics and Creating A Research Proposal. Basically, it started off by having its readers brainstorm idea topics that they can research. The World Wide Web is probably the biggest source of multiple genres. You are able to find research from other people, videos, poems, etc. They say that it is smart to just randomly start searching through different topics, and just read through some texts to generate ideas. As well, talking to people including classmates, friends, family, and coworkers helps to find out new info on a certain topic especially if you ask questions pertaining to the topic you are researching. Just as we did in our shitty first draft of project one, free writing once again will help you to quickly jot down all ideas that may be in your head. This allows you to go back and put all your ideas in an orderly fashion that makes sense to readers.
